This bill addresses the recovery of a fee charged by a credit card company or a processing agent to process an electronic payment.

Highlighted Provisions: This bill:

  • Permits a state institution of higher education or a local education agency to pass on to a
    person making an electronic payment the fee charged by a credit card company or a
    processing agent for processing the electronic payment.
