Event Details

RELEASE DATE: JANUARY 12, 2026
DURATION: 80 MINUTES

Asset Liability Management (ALM) is often called the rocket science of the financial world. It’s one of the most complex and critical responsibilities your board and management team will face. This program demystifies ALM and equips board members with the knowledge to confidently engage in strategic discussions about the institution’s financial future.

In this session, you’ll learn:

  • What ALM really is and why it matters for your organization’s stability and growth.
  • How ALM serves as your closest tool to a crystal ball, forecasting how changes in loans and deposits impact capital over time.
  • The essential questions every board member should ask—starting with the most important: How much capital is at risk?

We strip away the jargon and focus on what truly matters, understanding the mix of assets and liabilities and the tools management uses to predict future scenarios. We hope that by viewing this program, you’ll have a clear, practical framework for interpreting ALM reports and making informed decisions that safeguard your institution’s financial health.
