Job Summary
The Orem City Employees Federal Credit Union is seeking to hire a credit union manager. The
credit union manager plans and directs all activities in accordance with the credit union’s
policies as established by the Board of Directors, and all state and federal policies and
regulations.
This position oversees operations including software, IT, investments, payroll, other financial
entities and vendors, accounts payable and receivable. Directing and coordinating a high level of
communication and team work with board members, employees and members.
The Orem City Employees Federal Credit is a small city credit union with a closed membership
for Orem City employees, retirees, and their families. The credit union is open 25 hours each
week. The manager’s hours range from 15-20 hours per month to accomplish the listed
responsibilities and support the account clerks. This is a part-time, non-benefitted position.
Responsibilities
● Develop and implement effective credit union policies and procedures.
● Ensures regulatory compliance is maintained with federal and state governments, NCUA,
external auditors and Board of Directors and keeps informed on any forthcoming
changes.
● Prepares all necessary reports for compliance. Meets with Auditors as needed.
● Prepare Board of Directors monthly reports and facilitate monthly board meetings.
● Processes payroll.
● Serves as the Bank Security Act officer and oversees cash handling.
● Provide training to board members and CU staff as needed.
● Provide members with the services they need to meet their savings and loan needs.
● Provides quarterly financial column for city newsletter.
● Researches new financial services and prepares marketing plans to encourage credit
union growth, meet members needs, and improve services
