What You’ll Need

  • Valid Utah Driver’s License or State ID.
  • Social Security Number (SSN).


How to Register

  • Online: Vote.Utah.gov
  • By Mail: Download the voter registration form from the website, fill it out, and mail it to your county clerk.
  • In Person: You can register at your county clerk’s office or at your polling place on election day. Note: If registering at a polling place, ensure you have proper identification.

2026 Election Timeline

Primary Election: June 23, 2026

This election helps decide which candidates will represent their parties in the fall.

  • April 1, 2026: Deadline to check or change your party affiliation if you plan to vote in a specific party’s primary.


  • June 12, 2026: Deadline to register (online or by mail) to be eligible for the June 23 primary.

General Election: November 3, 2026

The final vote to determine our elected officials for our communities.

  • October 23, 2026: Deadline to register (online or by mail) for the General Election.

  • November 3, 2026 (Election Day): Ensure your mail-in ballot is returned or you visit a drop box/polling location by 8 PM.
