TransWest Credit Union has been helping our members since 1935. Originally the credit union for Utah employees of The Union Pacific Railroad. We now also serve employees of Kennecott Copper Corporation and U.S. Magnesium and have partnered with Clever Octopus and Pressman Auto. Plus, we continue serving all residents of Salt Lake County.
TransWest Credit Union is a not-for-profit organization. All credit union earnings after allocations to required reserves are returned to the membership in the form of lower loan and credit card interest rates, higher dividends on savings accounts and certificates, and lower fees on products and services. Since 1935, our philosophy has been “Do only what’s best for our members.” Our goal is to be Your Credit Union for Life.
