P&S Credit Union has an opening for an experienced full or part time teller. Duties include receiving and processing member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals and payments, balancing a cash drawer, answering telephones, answering member’s questions about their accounts and credit union services, cross-selling products and services, etc. Applicants must be friendly, outgoing, detail-oriented, and accurate.
Experience/Requirements:
- High School diploma (some college education is a plus);
- 1 year experience as a teller at another financial institution that included work in cash operations, cash handling, customer service and sales;
- Good communication skills and a professional demeanor with the ability to speak with members and process their transactions in a confidential manner;
- Knowledge of various office equipment and software;
- Ability to work collaboratively with other employees to fulfill the mission of the credit union; and 6 – Past work references.
