Who is the Utah Credit Union Association?

The Utah Credit Union Association (UCUA) is a membership organization that has been serving Utah credit unions for over 80 years.

In 1934 a group of credit union leaders met at the Art Barn in Salt Lake City, Utah. The duty of this group was to elect officers, decide on a constitution, bylaws and all other important information to get it started.

At this meeting there were twenty-four men and women who were representing the twelve credit unions that were then organized in the state. It is to these men and women that the credit unions of Utah and the Utah State League owes its success.

UCUA works to meet the needs and promote the goals of Utah credit unions and the credit union movement. We provide public relations, compliance information, education, training, legislative lobbying, community involvement projects, and much more to the credit unions of Utah.
