Congrats to Newest Association Board Member

Congratulations to Brock Mortensen, who is the newest member of our board. He’s replacing Michelle Thorn, who recently retired from her position as president of American United Credit Union, and also from our board.

Brock Mortensen is Ascent Credit Union’s President/CEO. He has worked with Ascent Credit Union for over twenty-five years in various areas, such as branch administration, IT, accounting and budgeting, forecasting, and managing the credit union’s Asset Liability Management program and policies. He is an Information Systems and Technologies graduate of Weber State University’s John B. Goddard School of Business & Economics and CUNA Management School. He has served as board chair of the Weber Human Services Foundation and is currently serving on the Ogden School Foundation.

Brock fills a spot in the $131 million to $524 million category.
