Crash the GAC 2025

The Cooperative Trust’s largest and original Crash—Crash the GAC—Celebrates 16 years of connecting emerging leaders to our industry’s brightest minds, deepening their connection to the credit union mission. Apply to CRASH the GAC 2025 and take your career to the next level!

The Governmental Affairs Conference is our opportunity to highlight the meaningful work credit unions are doing to improve the financial well-being of their members and communities. Please read this in its entirety—it is critical that you understand the commitment of being selected as a Crasher.

Here’s what to expect:

  • Hear from world-class keynote speakers
  • Together with the Leagues, participate in Hill Hikes to meet with lawmakers and show them the credit union difference
  • Discover the latest offerings in the industry’s largest exhibit hall
  • Network with and learn from peers and thought leaders in credit unions, politics, business and more
  • Experience Washington in a unique environment with legendary receptions, meals and accommodations

Tips/Tricks/Directions for the application (review carefully!):

  • You must submit a 60-second video explaining why you should be selected to represent your credit union and state at the GAC.
  • You can use YouTube, Vimeo, TikTok, Instagram, or any video service as long as you can share a link that we can use to review the video.
  • The application will be disqualified if we cannot review your video or a video is not submitted. (Do NOT link a file; this will not work)
  • Your WHY is more important than video production quality.
  • We’re interested in learning more about you, the real you! Please be yourself.
  • We select one Crasher per state based on your credit union’s headquarters (not your address).
  • The application window closes on Sunday, December 1st, 2024.
