This month, board elections took place resulting in all current members of the Board Executive Committee keeping their seats. Those Board Executive Committee Members consist of:

Sterling Nielsen, Chairman, Mountain America Credit Union
Shane London, Vice-Chair, Deseret First Credit Union
Tammy Phillips, Secretary, Varex Federal Credit Union

The executive committee is responsible for carrying out the specifically delegated functions of the board. The board may appoint an executive committee of not fewer than three directors to serve at its pleasure, to act for it with respect to the board’s specifically delegated functions.

• Todd Adamson – Cyprus Credit Union

• Dean Hirabayashi – National JACL Credit Union
• Ken Payne – Freedom Credit Union
• Thayne Shaffer – America First Credit Union
• Michelle Thorne – American United Credit Union
• Kerry Wahlen – Goldenwest Credit Union

The Board is made up of 11 members:

• One (1) Director from member credit unions having assets of $4,519,778,674 or greater.
• Three (3) Directors from member credit unions having assets between $451,977,865 and $4,519,778,674.
• Two (2) Directors from member credit unions having assets between $105,706,434 and $451,977,865.
• Two (2) Directors from member credit unions having assets up to $105,706,434.
• Three (3) Directors from member credit unions without respect to asset size.

Each Director serves a term of three (3) years.
