Risk Management Professionals Gather at the Utah Credit Union Association

As part of the @Lunch networking series, 8 credit union professionals from 5 Utah credit unions gathered today at the Utah Credit Union Association office to discuss risk management practices.

During the round table, attendees discussed ways to identify risk by engaging other departments and people in the organization. They also chatted about ways to help others at the credit union understand risk—not just as a way to avoid negative events, but as a way to pursue opportunities while managing risk. Vendor management, fraud, and credit risks were also topics of conversation.

The group agreed to meet again in six months, on December 4. Registration is open to Utah credit union professionals, here.
