Association Hosts Organizational Development @Lunch Networking

Yesterday, the Association hosted 13 credit union professionals from seven credit unions for an @Lunch Networking round table. The focus: organizational development, wherein all topics from HR, training, culture, and the like were fair game.

Discussion lasted roughly two hours, with nary a quiet moment found. Discussion included the following topics:

  • How to pull employees out of branches for training.
  • Recruiting and compensating bi-lingual employees.
  • Tuition reimbursement.
  • Subject matter experts (SMEs), mentors, and training practices.
  • Accommodations for expectant mothers and other employee needs.
  • Technological training resources to grease the wheels of training.
  • Supporting employee mental health.

The group found the conversation useful enough to request another round table for September 11, 2024. Registration for the upcoming @Lunch Networking, and all other Association events, can be found on the Association’s event calendar, online.
